published: 22.06.2021

The Fosen Yard in Emden, Germany has just recently delivered the first two semicircular modules of one of two huge salmon farms. Arctic Offshore Farm’s facilities are currently being prefabricated as four separate sections at the Yard.

The four sections will be assembled to two circular fish farming units in Norway. Each of the two round steel coloss is about 80 meters in diameter at the end, each weighing about 3,500 tons. The floating pontoons, under which huge nets will later hang, are about 25 meters high.

StoGda prepared Workshop Documentation for Main Structure and Major Outfitting Structure as well Basic Design, Workshop Documentation and As-Build for Minor Structure.
